Amanita mutabilis Beardslee


  • Observation Notes: A single Amanita mutabilis mushroom growing in needle duff in sandy soil under pitch pines along the Red Trail at the Franklin Parker Preserve, Chatsworth, New Jersey, USA.
  • It is raspberry sherbet staining and has a strong minty-floral odor.
  • This specimen was preserved for RET & NJMA Herbarium.
