Amanita volvata, also known as Volvate Amanita[1] is a white coloured species of fungi from the Amanitaceae family that can be found in southeastern United States. Can be confused with Amanita ponderosa, however this species is from Iberian peninsula. The species is amyloid and have saccate volva,[2] and elliptic spores.[3]
